The Chamber
Retail Project Team represents the retail community at large,
lobbying on their behalf on all issues concerning the retailers
of Sligo town and County. For issues of local and national relevance,
the Retail Project Team are committed to working effectively
in addressing and pursuing issues of relevance to retailers
and to helping Sligo Grow in a positive and constructive manner
towards a city where one can enjoy the ultimate shopping experience.
The members of the Committee are 100% accessible through the
Chamber executive staff. Annual and on-going activities and
events that this project team manage, promote and organise are
as follows: · Christmas Lights & Christmas Festival,
Santa Claus etc.· Sligo Shopping Spree - Business Security Crime Watch Scheme
· Improve Sligo's Appearance Project - Flower Window
Box's etc. · Lobbying for the provision of adequate car
parking facilities in Sligo · Lobbying for effective
traffic management controls · Co-ordinate better litter
management through the Chambers over all 'Voluntary Code of
Conduct' initiative. |
